We are so grateful for your support of the Vermont Donor Milk Center, Inc. and our mission to supply pasteurized donor human milk as lifesaving nutrition and food security to infants in the greater Vermont area, regardless of ability to pay. We offer crucial support and education of the health benefits of breastfeeding for families working to establish healthy feeding routines and striving to reach their lactation goals, and you are becoming a huge part of that mission.

Pat DeMarco Memorial Milk Money Fund
In Memory of Patricia DeMarco
Pat DeMarco was raised in Brooklyn during the 1930s under challenging circumstances. With divorced parents, she assumed the role of guardian for herself and her younger sister at just 9 years old. Despite this, she was blessed with a close-knit extended family, including grandparents and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, who provided her with love and support. Pat became the family's anchor, keeping everyone connected and in close communication.

Pat was known for her selflessness and willingness to ease the burden of others, particularly mothers and children. Her generosity was unmatched and she believed that the more one gave, the more they received in return. Her acts of kindness were highly personal and focused on those with whom she had personal ties, including LUND and VDMC organizations that were significant to her daughter who worked in maternal child health in Vermont."
We hope her legacy will continue to inspire others to give in support of strong healthy families through the Vermont Donor Milk Center.
